This webinar will outline why movement breaks and brain breaks need to be an integral part of the school day. Research tells us that the average learner, regardless of age needs to briefly move their bodies every 20-30 minutes, and many learn the most effectively with movement breaks every 15 minutes. This enables learners to maintain focus, integrate learning across both of the brain’s hemispheres, enter information into memory, and avoid feeling overwhelmed or information overload. These short breaks can provide efficiency in learning, stress relief, mood enhancement, boost relationships and class cohesion. This webinar is packed with ideas for movement breaks, brain breaks and sensory breaks to add to your day.
